I Was Just Going To Look Around...

I have been asked to look for a few pieces for a couple of homes. So, this morning I
stopped by Olde Good Things to take a look around.  I can’t go in that shop without
falling in love with at least a dozen things...And believe me, today was no exception!

I’m going to let this fine person start the visit...

I wish I had a dining room that would accommodate this long and beautiful trestle table...

An exquisite stained glass window.  Shades of French blue and pink that are gentle and so romantic...
Did you happen to notice the modern glass tulip lamp to the left of the window?
I believe it's brass and glass.

A beautiful French settee and parlor set...

Alabaster in the rafters...

This copper chandelier speaks to me...I hear it calling my name!   I'm sure I do!

I think one of the homes I’m looking for will welcome this piece...
Look at the pretty carving...

This window is exceptional.   It is a brass clad 6 window mirror from the 5th Avenue
Toy Building in New York City...

This lovely lady is my favorite.  Do you think she will get along with my kitty?
I wonder if she's counting the time on the old wooden clock behind her.
Probably waiting for her next visitor.

She seems to have a few friends....

How about this gracious lady?  I believe she may have been part of a fountain.

More friends...
Did you spot the beautiful blue and bronze lamp above?

If you are looking for mirrors I’m sure you will find something you like here...
Or here...

Now, if you just happen to be looking for a church steeple...(and who isn't...!?!)
How about this one?
And accrouterments...

There is still so much to show you.  I will have to continue this journey another day.
I will be showing you more in a day or two but in the meantime you might like to visit
Olde Good Things HERE .

It is fun to see what Olde Good Things does on the West Coast. Here in New York, the store is very full, everything is piled high and not so pulled-together looking as your store. The pieces in your store look fancier. Thanks for the peek.
