A Summer Visit To Country Roads Antiques

I have been absent due to a little knee surgery but before the surgery I had a chance
to do one of my favorite things on a Saturday or Sunday.  I drove down to Old
Town Orange to visit with Sue at Country Roads Antiques.

Her store always has so many fun and wonderful things to look at and it sets the
imagination in high gear.  My last visit was no exception.  I thought you might like
to see some of her current treasures(although by now I know she already has
even more new treasures to find)...

I think this would be wonderful with a butcher block top...

Interesting lights and chandeliers are everywhere...

What a wonderful birdhouse.  One of many...

One of the fun things about Country Roads Antiques is that it's huge. You really have
to walk around several times and go through room after room because each time you
will be amazed at all the things you missed on your first walk. Just as I began to take
pictures so many people appeared and I didn't want to get in the way of their shopping
so be sure to go to her site to see more wonderful treasures. The store is also full of
some great industrial pieces right now.

Have a wonderful week.

Hope you are
back on your
feet and feeling
fine this week, Susan!
I have to admit,
my pulse started to
race when I saw
that little desk with
the cane accents and
sweet carving at the
top....WOW. I love
a huge antique mall.
It's like a treasure
hunt! Happy Weekend!

Nice Things! It would be hard to choose between the Frenchy furniture
and the metal #5 cart on wheels.
It's fun to see it all through your eyes.

Oh, Susan, that looks like a wonderful shop, full of great things. I just love that picnic type basket...the one with the corks on top of it. I have a thing for containers. Hope you're on the mend and doing well :)
