Summer Bounty

As I have mentioned before, we have a wonderful

in my neighborhood.

Last Sunday as I was walking around the market I couldn’t help

but be inspired by the summer’s bounty. I rejoice in knowing that

all these beautiful fruits and vegetables from the earth are so nutritious

and feed our body with such amazing health and well being.

I hope you are enjoying your summer bounty, as well.

Have a sunny day!

We have a wonderful farm nearby for produce, but not a terrific farmer's market, and it is during the week on a day that isn't a good fit for me. It is so frustrating as I know the more successful the market, the more vendors and we get what we want, but the timing and location just aren't great. Someday! In the meantime, I am enjoying your gorgeous photos of summer's bounty. Thanks for stopping by and all your sweet comments.

I LOVE sunflowers and you just reminded me that we have a Farmer's Market every Thursday afternoon in Old Towne Orange. Think I'll slip away from Country Roads and go take a peek!

Take care, Sue

Love fresh produce. We are surrounded by farmland and we go to the fruit stands for fresh produce and there is nothing like it. A vine ripened strawberry is pure heaven!! Kathysue
PS Love your images, they are so artfully displayed and I need to thank you for your faithful reading of my blog and ever so sweet comments,Kathysue

Summer's bounty looks so very beautiful in your photos! Heirloom tomatoes are the best and they are so much more affordable from the farmer's market. I froze some whole last season and forgot about them. I need to thaw them out and make an heirloom tomato pasta sauce.
