I Went To Visit The Alpacas Again

I visited the Alpacas at Windy Hill Ranch again today and I couldn’t believe how
many little babies were running around! They certainly are cute! I’m going to let
the pictures do most of the talking. You will see mostly babies with a couple of
new adult friends whom I don’t think you met last time. At the end of the post is
a little someone special. Enjoy!

This little one followed me everywhere and kept talking
to me.  He (or is it a she?) loved to be stroked and
would rub up against me.  So precious!

Here's a new adult friend...

Here's my little friend again...

Oh, those lips!

Here's another new adult friend...

Just look at this face...and those lashes!!!

There seems to be a family discussion going on...

Here's my little friend again...

Do you remember the last post I did about the alpacas when I showed a picture
of a little cria being born...HERE .

Well, I found the sweet little girl again...

It's hard to believe I watched her come into this world...

She is so beautiful...
She looks so solid.  But I understand there is a bit of a problem...
her mama doesn't have any milk so they have to feed her
through a tube.  She is so cute and I sure hope she will
be ok.

It was so lovely visiting the ranch again. I hope you enjoyed seeing the sweet and
gentle alpacas and their babies.
My attention had to be somewhere other than blogging the last couple of weeks
but it's good to be back and I'll be checking in with all of your blogs too.

They don't look real! They are all too adorable. I keep going back and forth between the first visit and the re-visit. I hope you will go back again to keep up with your special baby. Great photos....

These are just the most beautiful and adorable baby animals ever. I feel like each one has a different hairdo and style, and I could pick a personality to fit their do! What cuties. How loving and affectionate they seem. I hope the little one who has to be tube fed will do all right too. Thanks, I have never seen baby alpacas before and I am just smiling as I type.

This is one of the best posts that I have read in a long time!! Alpacas are such sweet, wonderful, inquisitive creatures...they are just so lovable. I once went to Peru and spent time up in the Andes mountains on a Alpaca farm...and that is where I learned how gentle and wonderful they are. I love these photos...they are amazing. It makes me want to break out my photos from Peru or better yet... go back for another visit.

I'm thinking a hairdresser could do wonders at the farm. LOL!!! Seriously, just picture it . . .

I just love them all. So sweet. They seem a lot more friendly than Llamas.

Oh I just adore you! Thank you for your understanding and the good news! You have truly made my day by your wonderful news about Jumpin' Jack Flash. How wonderful that he lived to be 27! Amazing!Thank you very much for telling me about him. Show us some photos when and if you can. I would enjoy that.

Chestnut has weighed this exact amount since he was a year old. He eats 1/2 cup of Nutro dry adult food every 24 hours and once a week a *tiny* can of moist food as a treat for hairball maintenence. Also once a week he drinks about a teaspoon of 2% milk for a super duper treat. He has an endless supply of flowing water fountain bowls that he just loves. I feel like people must think I feed him an entire bag of food a day and that is not the case. He's just a large and long kitty as well at 3 1/2 feet from his nose to his tail tip.

Thank you again for telling me and your kindness. I can't wait to read your comment to my hubby as well. He is our fur child after all. I'm so happy to know this!

*Smiles & Blessings*
Warmly, ~Melissa :)
