A Sweet Pea Maze

As you know, a few weeks ago I visited the Flower Fields in Carlsbad, California.
One of the lovely features they have for spring is a Sweet Pea Maze.

Once you enter you follow the paths and try to find your way to the exit.

Now I know what you're thinking, this would be a piece of cake to navigate...looks
easy.  Well, let me tell you...it is not as easy as you think to find your way out!  However,
it is so beautiful being inside the maze that it almost doesn't matter...unless you are in a
hurry. The flowers tower over you and they are glorious.  The colors are beautiful and
amazing.

Well, after several wrong turns I finally made it out.  It was really kind of fun being lost
in the beauty of these lovely flowers.

I hope you are having a wonderful week.

I am linking over to RoseVignettes for Fresh Cut Friday.

  3. Oh how I'd love to get lost in that maze! Sweet peas are one of my favorites. I grow them in areas to just look at and grow them in my veggie garden for cutting. I even have the perfect vase that I keep full of them every summer!

Thanks for sharing all these "sweet" pictures! I can't wait for mine to bloom :)

  21. Hi Thank you so much for visiting me and leaving such a nice comment.

A sweet pea maze ~ how wonderful! Not only the beauty, but the fragrance must be amazing. I love sweet peas and plant them every year, I can't imagine how much work it must have been to plant all of these. Maybe next year I can go and see them. Have a super day.

  32. In our area we have a corn maze. I have never been as I have a phobia of closed in spaces, but I bet this was so much fun. I would rather the Sweet Pea vs. corn stalks anyday. The flower is such a beauty!
