Sanibel Shells

I want to thank Debbie of  Love Of The Sea  for the lovely shells she sent me.
She recently went shelling on Sanibel Island and gathered so many beautiful and
natural shells and I was fortunate enough to receive a wonderful box of her shells
in the mail.  Thank you so much, Debbie.

You can see they are in their natural form...

Thank you, Debbie.

  3. Wow - the shells look great. Do you have them displayed with sand and some aqua beads?
I really love the little bids - it looks like glass.

  4. So pretty! I used to work on Sanibel for the little newspaper there years ago. And my hubbie and I had our homeymoon on Sanibel. They have a name for the way people look on Sanibel while searching for shells. It is called the Sanibel Stoop.

  7. Although I wouldn't want to walk on those barnacles, they sure look pretty on your shells. What a nice gift of nature.

  12. I can't go to the beach without coming home with a few shells. There are none as exotic as yours to be found up here, though. I often use shells to decorate the table, and there are shells under shrubs in the garden and in the bird bath (scrubbed, of course!)

  13. The Sanibel shells are grand; as a child one year I visited Sanibel Island and collected shells too.
